A primary function of the ASL programme is to
facilitate a knowledge network – including
the documentation and dissemination of best practice
– and encourage debate and dialogue between
ASL practitioners across Southern Africa.
With this objective in mind a structured knowledge
sharing approach has been adopted. The aim is
to develop this site into an innovative knowledge
management system housing continually updated
information on all active and past projects.
The resource centre will serve to provide a
holistic image of the ASL programme environment,
thus encouraging appropriate partnering, a better
spread of benefits, best practice sharing and
project replication.
